This weekend marked my first Zumba class. Described as dance fitness, it does involve a lot of, "hip shakin", during a full hour of dancing. Southern Fried Momma and myself are hooked. If you are not familiar, I have included a video for your enjoyment....
I believe I am glad this lady is not our instructor or I would be writing this post from my hospital bed.

I never heard of Zumba before but it sure looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like fun! I bet your hips get smalled with every class! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am making Rico watch this so he understands we are not clogging...
ReplyDeleteDing dong.
Dejoni - I hope he trys to keep up with this lady.
ReplyDeleteBetsy & Changes - It is so much fun.
There's a girl on staff here at Lake Redneckville CC who teaches Zumba...AND clogging. I guess you could say she's diversified? Still looks more interesting than the old-fashioned aerobics.
ReplyDeleteOH MY! That was entertaining. Loved it. I would need a back brace and then a possible trip to the emergency room after a class like that. The lady in the back of the class in the black and white moo moo was hilarous.
ReplyDeleteO.k. - where is this happening? I saw a couple of posts about it on FB but I have never heard of it before. I must confess - I use to be a clogger(hehe) - loved it - but this looks so fun. Gotta get some info. from ya - I might have to try it myself. Please e-mail me when you have a chance. It's gonna be beautiful today in our "small town" - the sun is shining. So glad you like your sign.
ReplyDeleteWe have some Zumba classes here in my town, but I've not been and didn't know what they were doing - looks fun, but I'd probably have to stay on the beginners! I'd knock something out of whack!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Zumba! Looks like A LOT of fun.
ReplyDeleteI used to clog a lot. And stayed skinny doing it.
That guy in the lime green pants was about as good as the instructor.
