Hotter than a........

Seriously, how much longer can this heatwave continue? A 110 degree heat index is predicted for tomorrow. It's so hot I saw two trees fighting over a dog today.
It's hotter than two bears fighting a forest fire.

Hotter than a steel playground at noon.

Hotter here than a billy goat in a pepper patch, I tell you. But, we all know it's not the heat.....it's the humidity.

  1. Wow, it's still really hot there? We are having a slight respite but next we have to watch out for a typhoon!

  2. We took our pontoon out for a trip around Nolin Lake this afternoon, and it still wasn't all that cool there.A bit of a breeze while moving, but when we stopped,it was terribly hot, even on the water. No wonder we had the lake all to ourselves.

  3. Exactly!
I think them temps up there have been very close to ours here in SC.
Our humidity is usually not as bad as yours. But this year....it's hard to breath, much less do anything outside.

  4. yep exactly--we are burnin up too. I'm just thankful for the thunder storms or my yard would be totally dead. There is no way I'm going to stand out there with a hose. It's just unreal. Thanking God daily for the AC!!!!

  6. I can't believe the heat wave your having. My partners parents live in Iowa and they're melting. Hope it cools down soon.
