We are melllting

We are in for another scorcher today.


In fact we are under a heat advisory for today and tomorrow.



Temps in the upper 90's with a heat index of 106 degrees.





Higher temps are predicted for tomorrow.



Hope everyone is staying cool out there. All dogs and people will be indoors today at the farmette.

  3. I'm so sick of this HOT weather, though, it is August. Suppose I should just man up and stay in the A/C. :)

  4. Live north of Wichita, KS where it was 108 yesterday and 105 already at 2pm today. I try to ignore the heat index, just makes me hotter.

  5. I heard on the radio that a man in Nashville died mowing his lawn...stay inside and drink lots of water. I can't even imagine that kind of humidity. It is 96 outside, but it's dry, so not too bad, but I'm inside in the cool inside.Stay cool:)

  8. They said on The Weather Channel the other day that America hasn't seen consistent high temps like these since the 19th century. I believe them. Personally, I'm glad August is almost over so I can look forward to fall.

    Extreme winter, spring passed us by and summer is beyond extreme.
    Makes me wonder what's up for fall!

  12. Twisted - We had such a crazy winter last season, and all this hot summer makes me wonder if fall/winter will be worse.
