Sunday was a glorious day here on the farmette.

Gorgeous sun, moderate temperatures, and no humidity made for a wonderful day.

We did finally have some rain on Saturday, but in reality the farm is very dry.

Even when the farm is dry, crunchy, and crispy....

I'll still be glad to take it.
We got some rain Saturday night but we're still bone dry also.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Atleast you still have "green" grass.
Our grass is brown due to lack of rain.
We got some rain showers here on Saturday, too, but the ground was so dry it didn't even leave a puddle.
That lovely farm of yours looks so serene; you're a very lucky girl!
ReplyDeletecan you open up your farm for a weekend retreat? i'll wash dishes, do laundry, anything! it just looks so peaceful there. what a wonderful spot you have....i'll be picturing that when my day gets hectic! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a little bit of heaven, your spot in the world!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful piece of property - and a beautiful house as well!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place you have and a great blog too. I love visitng you guys in the South for some green views. I live in a desert canyon in CA and if you want to see dry, I have it here. One rain since May.--Inger
ReplyDeleteYa, the season has changed up here too. Fast From 70s at 6:00 AM to 50s. Now, that's a change. By the way, love that new banner.
ReplyDeleteAfter three days of chaotic traffic, old buildings and ruins I'd like a walk there...
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty! I like the bike in the corner of the last photo.
ReplyDeleteYour farmette looks so lovely and peaceful....we have had wonderful weather here too lately.
ReplyDeleteTwisted - The grass looks deceptively green! It is actually a bit crunchy.
ReplyDeleteKate - Things can get a bit hectic out here too. With two kids and four dogs it is never dull. And, we don't even have cattle at the moment!
Lucky you, I would love to live on a farmette. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteYour alls place is so beautiful! Peaceful, quite - I'd love to visit your lil' place of heaven someday! I'm hoping our "new" farmhouse will have half the character of your great "real" farmhouse! It really is beautiful!
