Here's a prime example of procrastination; me sitting in the lawn chair this morning watching chickens when I should be in the house getting ready for work!
I totally agree with Gaston Studio, and your posting. And yes, I am guilty of procrastinating more since I have gotten older for some reason. I tell myself, "why do today what you can do tomorrow" LOL - not a good motto to live by at all. Thanks for the reminder. Take care, from Fayette Co KY.
My Dad, for the most part, was the serious type.He never did a lot of joking or cutting up with us kids anyway, but I remember very distinctly, using that line in front of him,"Why do today, what you can put off until tomorrow?" and I got a very quick response from him,"Yes,and that's the trouble with too many people in this world."I felt terrible after saying that.It seemed to hit a nerve with my Dad, and I wished a million times that I could recall those words, even though they were said in jest.
Oh that is so true! All the time we waste putting off things that need to be done. But my husband says we should never procrastinate the taking of an afternoon nap...he is so wise!
This is so true! And I'm so guilty of procrastinating as I've gotten older, sigh.
ReplyDeleteGuilty! Though sometimes, I work better under pressure.

ReplyDeleteMy dad used to say something like that, but I didn't listen then.
ReplyDeleteI agree, now...
Yes, it is.
ReplyDeleteAnd I wish I could get back all the time I've procrastinated away! LOL
Oh I needed this first thing this morning. Made it there with one minute to spare.
ReplyDeleteOh so very true!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by....come back soon. :) Have a great day.
