And so she arrives....

It is official. Suzy Snowflake has arrived at the farmette, along with her friends Icky Ice and Wicked Wind. Seriously....she could have left those two at home.
We have the promise of snow showers all day long,

and into the evening...along with snow tomorrow as well.

The perfect day to hang out by the wood stove with a cup of coffee.

I think the Lady of the Yard has everything under control outside, so I will leave her to it.

  21. We got plenty of snow late yesterday and during the night here, too. My guess is about 3-4 inches. I can never figure how the weather folks get their measurements. But the ground is covered entirely. A lot more than Louisville. I went out at 4:30 and tried to get a few shots of the house and snow, but I do not have the talents you do,when it comes to taking beautiful pictures.

  22. Snowy here too-and even though there are soooo many things I need to be out and about doing for Christmas-it is nice to be cozy inside : )

  26. We got from 3-5 inches of snow and blowing wind but the sun is out this afternoon and it looks like spring. Except the snow. And the birds are all hungry.

  27. Those were some DANG big flakes Missy! We are smack in the freezer up here and covered in white again, some places more than others thanks to the wind. I really do need to either walk on out to take some pictures or at least clean my windows so I can take them from the inside looking out! ;-)

  28. A nice job capturing their arrival ! I really like that lady of the yard.

Your comment about enjoying a coffee by the wood stove reminds me that I'll be doing that in about 1 week - we're headed back to Canada at the end of this week. 2 days of driving and we'll be in a whole other world. for 3 weeks.
