Here at the farmette it is a different kind of animal that gets everyone around the farm. Now that the weather is better, the chores have started. And, I find it so great that I have a young man around the house who doesn't mind helping.
Especially.....
when his good buddy is along for the ride.
Ooh, a two seater Mule! We've got a Polaris Ranger that we use for chores and running around our property. My son can't wait until his legs are long enough to drive. This will be the year, I'm sure. :) (Our pups like to go for a ride, too!)

ReplyDeleteHubby and I were just at the John Deere store yesterday to drop off the sprayer and get it ready for a jump into hyper drive with GPS! We looked at the Gators, and I think it would be fun to have one, just not sure where it truly lands on the want/need list! Stay tuned. It IS time to start rolling the ground isn't it?? Well, we have to let some of the melted snow go back into the ground first! Still have a few piles lingering and lots of puddles!

ReplyDeleteWith a neat machine like that,and a young man around the driving age,you will get all kinds of help.That's always the way it was when we were growing up on the farm.Everyone wanted the job of driving anything,anywhere,anytime there was driving involved.The rest had to hand up the tobacco or hay or corn or pumpkins or wood,or whatever was being harvested that day.You were considered lucky,if you got to do the driving.
