really a gorgeous photo
There's no substitute for that faded farm "red" color. Great shot!
I really love your blog. It takes me to a different place in my mind. A place and time when life was simpler, less cluttered!
I love it....
Very appealing in its simplicity and color.
Beautiful!
Simply lovely.
You have such a good eye for things. I love it.--Inger
Cool....
hey--i tried the potato sausage casserole recipe you posted and it's a hit! the punks loved it!
I'm thoughless. The color is intriguing but what is it? :)
I have a brown one of those sitting next to my desk! Cool! That one looks MUCH snazzier than mine...
Great pic! Makes the gears turn in my head. It looks like a flat belt pulley from an old machine. I also like the hand cart that it's sitting on. The angled border and wood boards with faded paint. Reminds me of an old Railway Express Agency cart.

what a lovely, rustic still life!
Troutbirder - I am not really sure what it is. I saw this resting on a wagon at the farm auction I recently attended. The color just caught my eye.
That's a lovely photo, nice and bright!
Troutbirder - VeggiePak and my spouse tell me that it is a flat belt pulley.
This picture would make an interesting book cover! I even like the title to be your watermark -- "It's a Small Town Life"!
I love the combo of the Red and the rust. Excellent photo!
Love this picture! You do such an awesome job of capturing life moments in things that are not always alive!
It is lovely. Was this found or staged?
I like bright colored objects and the shades of the background are a perfect match for this one.
Red is such a strong color in all its variations.
Jack - I found this object just like this, at the farm auction I recently attended.
Wonderful shot! I love taking photos of just random things.
That is a really interesting shot, what is it though???
RED...my absolute favorite.
