Nice, never heard that quote before, it's almost like a proverb. Sometimes when we work hard at something, some people like to keep us at their level for whatever reason from insignificant belittling conversation to possibly jealousy. I don't meet many entrepreneurs in my day to day life but I do come across inspiring people on a sunday that give me a focus.
A well known Italian proverb says 'Meglio soli che male accompagnati' which is almost verbatim a famous quote of George Washington: It is better to be alone than in bad company.
