It seems I am in love with the color of ragweed.....not the effects of it.
My daughter and I already have plans to make a few Drac-o-lanterns. If you would like to do so check out the website.
If you are more adventurous, check out these pumpkins. Make sure you click on the winners of previous years on the left hand sidebar. AWESOME!
The chiclets and I are looking forward to fall break next week. No school for nine days!!! The Babs and Mr. B are visiting us during this time. I think I need one of these before they arrive.
So glad fall is here.
My son has started driving my car on our little country road. When did my life get to this point?

ReplyDeleteWow where does the time go I cannot believe we are in to pumpkin weather.
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be great to spend times with the kids. Driving with son good luck Mom here comes the grey hair:) B
me too, liking the way ragweed looks I mean. The draco pumpkins look very cool, hope you'll post pics of yours! 9 days for fall break? no way!
ReplyDeleteI used to do that to get the kids used to driving.
ReplyDeleteThe color of ragweed is enticing, isn't it?! Great pumpkin website (not to be confused with The Great Pumpkin) -- thanks for sharing. Btw, I can always use Rosie the Maid. (rut-row) Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think I have the same weed as my header! Achooooo!
ReplyDeleteV
Thanks for the pumpkin links..off to check them out. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteoh, after you're done with rosie, can i have her?! :) enjoy your free week!!!
ReplyDeleteRagweeds are beautiful! I passed the children learn to drive moments long ago. It doesn't take long.
ReplyDeleteIs that goldenrod or ragweed?
ReplyDeleteEither way, I'm allergic to both. This time of year makes me crazy!
Pass the Allegra, please.
My daughter wants natural, loose-looking flowers for her wedding next Labor Day weekend, and started talking about how pretty goldenrod and ragweed are. Excuse me, Susie, ever hear about allergies???
ReplyDeleteRagweed is very poetic-looking isn't it! But it's not very poetic to my nose. EEEK! Wow - a fall break - our schools don't do that. How fun!
ReplyDeleteWe got two boys through driving and a girl. You pray alot. And don't be afraid to take the keys away - it's a great tool for grounding and getting them to do stuff they're supposed to... ;)
Fall break already? Fall break comes during Thanksgiving here. I also love the color of ragweed.
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty but oh so dangerous...lol
ReplyDeleteI'm also noticing the ragweed (pictorially) more than ever this year. Wonder if it's brighter or something . . . It sure is attractive.
ReplyDeletePretty! Hang in there! He'll get his license soon then you can sit and home and sweat instead...
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of ragweed also...but not what it does to my sinuses :(.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your pumpkins! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI see you're getting in the "spirit" of the season.. :-)
ReplyDelete((hugs)), Teresa :-)
The kids grow up way too fast, don't they?! Before you know it, they'll have little ones of their own and you'll be a grammy like me... just sayin' :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that color...and I hope you have a wonderful fall break week. (Ours isn't until November...but I think we started our school much later than you did:)
ReplyDeleteWho is not in love with the colors of nature?
ReplyDeleteKnock wood,I am not allergic to ragweed or other weeds and hopefully never will be.
ReplyDeleteI remember when my kids first learned to drive ... nail biting time..lol!
Enjoy the school break!
I think that's goldenrod in your photo (only reason I know, it's our State flower.) But just as bothersome as ragweed, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI had two teen boys driving at one time. Yikes! :)
oh boy...driving....
