My wife is a fifth grade teacher and as they talked in class this past Friday, she told me, the kids didn't really seem to get it. 9/11 is our "Kennedy" moment, but to the 10 and 11 year olds... it's as ancient as Vietnam or WWII. It is still important to teach the next generation, but it is interesting as to the relevance seen by those born just 10 years ago... but that's why we have dedicated, patriotic teachers...
We had just started class when a secretary called me from the office telling me to turn the TV on. I did. It was an unteachable teachable several hours I will never forget

A tough day for all... When I hear the phone calls from the plane headed for the Pentagon by stomach aches.
