Perhaps it should read "thoughtful Thursday" visiting a cemetery and depending on your upbringing and culture may have some significant differences from other cultures.
I really like the composition here--as if the various objects were arranged that way. Same thing with light and shadow. Interesting--I didn't even notice the oddness of the swing in this setting. It seems unusual, yet entirely right, maybe for the reason Rick K states.
I like the arrangement of items here, as if the stones were planned for a photo. Ditto the light and shadow contrast. I didn't even notice how unusual a swing is in this setting till others mentioned it. It seems right, maybe for the reason Rick K states.
Everyone - The swing has been there for quite a while. Placed there for quiet time and contemplation, I am not sure how much use it really gets. However, this is a really, peaceful place.
Well, there is a very appropriate place to swing and contemplate what life is all about. How interesting. I would love to walk around the tombstones and read the names on them.
Ha! I've never seen a swing in a graveyard before.
