Saturday I had plans.
Plans that involved me and a list of chores. Not too bad, I thought. Both kids were busy with friends and Secret Agent Man was busy as well.
Then the plans changed and I ended up taking two fine young ladies on an outing to a local orchard.
And I was lucky enough to be a part of their day.
I listened as their jokes, songs, laughter, and friendship seeped from them with joy.
And to think that I almost missed every moment of this.....

but I think I have ended up where I needed to be."
