Red is the color of old barns,

love, passion, and old hay rings.

It is the color of berries,

wood,

The color of shady, timeworn sheds, wild hair, and bandannas.

The color of fire, apples, fast cars, and fingernail polish.

The color red is.........

  10. Most of the old Swedish farm houses and barns were red with white trim. The color came from the copper mines in the province of Dalarna and was called Falu red. Whenever I see a red house or barn with white corners and window frames, I think of the Swedish countryside. Thanks for bringing old memories to life.
