These are beautiful photos. The weather is so nice right now and again tomorrow, but the snowstorm is headed our way. I am patiently waiting for spring, too. Laura
We had gray skies today as well..... I am always ready for spring around valentines, especially after seeing all of the tulips and hyacinths that the florist send out. Hope you are able to enjoy a relaxing weekend.
Lovely series, grey or not... I especially like that last shot... Will you consider entering it in my 'Weekly Top Shot' meme? We're on Week #18 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=6331
We all need sunshine in our lives. Including all the wonderful colours that exist. When it's grey, you just need to dig a little deeper and see the shades of grey.
I just came in from taking some pictures of our own gray. You are so right, it gives everything a rest. Even my eyes that were getting so tired and dry from all that sunshine and bright blue sky are feeling much better now.
Thank you Michelle for coming over to share with 'Weekly Top Shot!' I do so like that last shot in your series, somewhat Andrew Wyeth-esque and I love his work, don't you?? I hope you'll come by again next week to share...
seeing a little gray makes you appreciate color when you see it...
ReplyDeleteoh, your second shot is GLORIOUS!!! the movement you feel in the slope of the roof, the cupolas, the rust. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteMy fave shot is the last one. I'm waiting for Spring, but not very patiently. :-)
