I love the weather. In times of mental drought, it gives me plenty of fodder for my blogging habit.
The sky starts swirling over the farmette and out comes the camera.
It was 75 degrees here yesterday. Storms rolled by, but didn't bother us.
Snow predicted tonight.
Mother Nature...she is a fickle one.....

I really like the second photo: it is one of the best I have see around lately! Brava!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I just wrote, but I mean the last photo!

ReplyDeleteThat last shot is my favorite. We were spared from any storms here last night, as well. Of course, I was just about blown away as I left work for lunch a few minutes ago.
Wonderful light! I'm glad you ran in for your camera!
ReplyDeleteThose are some dramatic skies--and an extreme change in the weather!
ReplyDeletethese are wonderful, I like the color "push" are you using a special lense or playing with enhancements? Either way, very cool.

ReplyDeleteLove that last picture, Michelle - just beautiful! Notice how the sky looks darker when the sun is out - It got up to 82 here yesterday. That's a painting! You're such a great photographer!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - I love to watch the sky, too . . .
ReplyDeleteLike the music, too!
ReplyDeleteAll three are wonderful. At first I was going to exclude the middle photo, because I see too many photographs with great skies and nothing going on below to add interest, but I decided that the sky is so unusual that it needed to be shown even without interesting ground below.
ReplyDeleteThat last shot is amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! The last one was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThose are really need clouds!
ReplyDelete"Is this a time to be cloudy and sad,
ReplyDeleteWhen our mother Nature laughs around;
When even the deep blue heavens look glad,
And gladness breathes from the blossoming ground?”
William Cullen Bryant
Great landscapes images -- could not believe it was so warm here in KY on a Feb. day but I am not complaining. -- barbara
ReplyDeleteI love when the sky seems to have a personality all of its own. Pretty awesome sights :)
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is just perfect, Michelle. The arch of the hill and fence is lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love your dark, dramatic skies. And what bizarre temperature swings!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully captured! The clouds are alive and vivid.... WoW!
ReplyDeleteOh, those are some wicked-looking skies ! Nice to see (and capture) but not nice when they unload. Hopefully you'll get another 75 to remove whatever snow you got !
ReplyDeleteThose are some of the best pictures of sky and clouds I've ever seen. I'm sure we can count on you to come up with beautiful photos if it snows too.
ReplyDeleteThat last photograph is simply divine!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding photos!
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos, especially I like the last one.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
The weather is something I think I could blog about every day! Mother Nature provides me something to talk about every day in North Dakota. Glad to see the same is for Kentucky! Hope you have an uneventful weekend. It's snowing here!
ReplyDeleteI love the weather also. I drive my wife crazy watching the weather channel :).
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS sky images....and everything that goes with them!
ReplyDeleteGreat lighting on that last photo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots all... but your last with the brilliant sky, fence and naked tree is over the top wonderful! Thank you for sharing on 'Weekly Top Shot.' I hope you'll come share again next week...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures- especially the middle one- just love all the shades of blue.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Michelle. I love the dramatic sky where it is sunny yet storms are on the horizon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone - these are wonderful shots & I love the third one. Like you, I find skies inspiring and how nice that you've looked up to find such beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteWow, that sky shot with the tree is dramatic! Wonderful composition and light. I love how the clouds come out your camera.
ReplyDeleteLove these! We had a great storm cloud show as the sun peeked through just before sunset tonight. After 2 days of cold rain, we're looking to the 70's for the weekend. There is no predicting any more. :)
