It seems like we are in line to finally get some SNOW!
Although a few flakes have fallen from the sky, I am doubtful that we will get much at all. This makes me sad. Will we ever have winter? What up Mother Nature?
Dann gifted me with a Leibster Award and the best part about this is that I can link you up to some of my favorite daily reads.
Home School on the Croft gives an amazing peek into the daily life of a family living off the coast of Scotland. Stunning views, I tell ya.
Nancy at A Rural Journal has some killer photo skills.
Birdman always has some words for the wise.
All are great reading on a snow day.....
good luck with the snowfall. we're heading for a deep freeze for the next couple of days, but no precip...
ReplyDeleteThe no snow thing is driving me crazy this year. I think Mother Nature's on a rampage. Watch she's holding out and plans on hi-jacking Spring. (Hugs)Indigo
ReplyDeleteoh, i can't wait to see how much snow you get? we have a chance ...i wonder what we will get? (:
ReplyDeleteNice list of blog friends there...I'll have to check them out!
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get 2 inches of snow tonight. I want a foot or two and a true snow-in for it to feel like winter! ha.
I hope you get your snow, I always get so excited when it is in the forecast. _ Congratulations on your award, it will be fun to visit these blogs. xo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your Liebster Award and to those you passed it on to, I will be checking out their sites!
ReplyDeletethanks for the lead to Home School on the Croft...another great blog...spent six weeks in Scotland this past summer...the highlands and teh coasts are magical...the central and southern regions okay.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' the lack of snow this winter. Keeps the road home open and that's better than warm chocolate chip cookies! Congrats on your liebster award, hope you get the right touch of winter (for you) and then let's move on to spring please!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking we were not going to get any cold temps this year, but this weekend we're getting a couple of freezing nights. Time to bring the big pup in!
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to get some white fluff here in southern Ohio tonight... but I'm not holding my breath... haven't had but a light dusting of snow all winter here 'bouts...
ReplyDeleteDann in Ohio
I too like the wisdom of Birdman. I say you can keep the snow down south, I had my fill last year here in southern Ohio. Snowed every 2 and no more than 3 days apart last year from Oct. to March. This year has been great, just dustings so far. Heard they were laying off weather personel for lack of anything to hype up.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo. We're hoping for more snow too. I hope you get yours.
ReplyDeleteSome is better tehn none !!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have snow on the ground but it's melted some. We did get snow today but it didn't amount to much.
ReplyDeleteWe got some more this night, but only on roofs and cars...
ReplyDeleteSnow? Is that the white stuff that falls from the sky in the winter? I don't think we've had 25 flakes all winter. I'm really not complaining however. It would be nice to have one nice big snow so we could make snow cream. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links look. I checked out a few. That's a wonderful winter barn look.
ReplyDeleteHoping you get the anticipated snow. Thanks for the links...a couple new ones to me. Yay!
ReplyDeleteNice snow shot :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been a crazy winter. We are snow free in North Dakota and you are getting snow in Kentucky. It is VERY cold here right now. Stay warm and I'll check out the blogs you highlighted. I'm finally getting a little time to catch up on blog reading. It's like visiting old and new friends all at once. Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the contrast between last year's snowfall abundance and this year's paucity remarkable? Funny, folks complain about both.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot, somewhat forlorn and very cold looking! Weyth-esque! Will you consider entering it in my 'Weekly Top Shot' meme? We're on Week #17 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=6220
ReplyDeleteWe have had little or no winter here either...the snow is almost non-existent in the mountains behind my house!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the award, Michelle! Very much appreciated. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you got your snow -- any little bit of precip we can get is a blessing this time of year.
Hope you get lots of snow soon Michelle!
ReplyDeleteBe prepared -- snow in the forecast again for KY -- guess winter just got mixed up with its snow season this year -- barbara
