The Week in Review

This week has been an extra busy one. School is finally out for summer, but not without a lot of activities/work/craziness.

The boy is finished with his freshman year of high school and the girl is on her way to middle school next year. I completed my week with a luncheon including my fine coworkers that involved a lot of eating, talking, and laughing.

Next week starts the summer sports practice schedule and some relaxation time in there somewhere.

I am going to take a cue from my good, furry friend here.....

and hang out just to watch the sunset tonight.

  5. You have a good plan there.. slow down and enjoy the sunset. I think I need to cut back on activities.. here I am retired and am still always zooming about.

  11. I didn't realize our boys were the same age (older ones!) We have 3 half days left and then summer here we come!!! Of course, the football practice schedule, like yours, has already been put on my desk and I have to admit, it made me cringe just a bit. I miss the summers when they were little and we actually just played.

I hope your summer is wonderful!

  18. School's out for summer..gotta love that! Enjoy yourselves...Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.
