The Week in Review

This week has been an extra busy one. School is finally out for summer, but not without a lot of activities/work/craziness. 





The boy is finished with his freshman year of high school and the girl is on her way to middle school next year. I completed my week with a luncheon including my fine coworkers that involved a lot of eating, talking, and laughing.  

 Next week starts the summer sports practice schedule and some relaxation time in there somewhere. 



I am going to take a cue from my good, furry friend here..... 




and hang out just to watch the sunset tonight.

  14. I didn't realize our boys were the same age (older ones!) We have 3 half days left and then summer here we come!!! Of course, the football practice schedule, like yours, has already been put on my desk and I have to admit, it made me cringe just a bit. I miss the summers when they were little and we actually just played.

  21. School's out for summer..gotta love that! Enjoy yourselves...Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.

  30. That is such an early start to the summer holidays. It's the end of June in Scotland, and into July in England.
