I Brake For Fall

I brake for fall and for shiny buildings on the side of a country road.

This afternoon marks the beginning of fall break for our school system. Though we start school at the end of July, (seriously), we take a week off during the first week of October.

It is heaven.

This chick is looking forward to a week with no alarm clock and some time with my camera.

Wishing all of you a great weekend and week beyond.

  4. I thought we started school early in August. Fortunately, I write from home, so I can afford not to believe in time. Thus, no alarms. Happy Fall.

  10. July start to school is early. I wonder how the kids feel about it? What is the overall position from parents. Do the pros outweigh the cons? Just curious. :)

Interesting post processing treatment. Has a canvas look to it.

  22. The week long break to celebrate local county fairs, teacher conferences or both? Interesting time to bring learning to a halt.
But I do like that shining building.
