My father in law doesn't have any this year. I didn't realize how much I would miss seeing them around. I don't miss my dog trying to chase them around.
Ahhh, those big cow eyes. Great photo. When my boys were little we had a cow that had a calf that we planned on growing for the beef. They named him Big Brown Eyes. I could never bring myself to let him be butchered because I didn't want to think of Big Brown Eyes when we had beef on the table. Nothing like a small town festival. Have fun.
