Shots From The Week

We are getting ready for our Football Homecoming Game tonight. A big deal here in our very tiny, small town.

Was it yesterday that my son was a toddler and I followed him all around the house?  Now, I just drop him off on the side of a dirt road to hike out into the woods.

My daughter, Toots, had her very own, "Marcia Brady", moment this week when she took a hit with a basketball during warm ups for a game.  She was wearing a pair of glasses and received some cuts to the face.  Naturally, this was the day before her debut in the Middle School Homecoming Court.

Toots on the left, her dear friend on the right.

Somehow, it didn't faze her in the least.

Life is good!

Crazy, but good!

  9. I really envy your son for his attitude... I was quite like that, camouflage and all, but it was a long time ago. And we obviously lived in the countryside!
