Was it the setting sun that enhanced the golden richness? Doesn't matter because there's such exquisite coloring in this photo. Makes we want to visit Pier 1 Imports and buy some Autumn thingies just for the sake of enjoying these eye-candy colors.

i always like to gaze into the fields as i pass them on the road...with the hay bales scattered around. but HERE...they are in perfect order! i haven'tr seen that before!

blue ribbon for this photo! I remember a few years ago, we had hay that was lined up like that. Later in the winter months, it seemed that a family of skunks thought they had just found them a 12 room home. Yikes! took a couple of weeks to get rid of them....and to think, the kids had climbed upon the hay rolls numerous times and didn't even know the family of skunks were there... Have a Happy End to the week.
