This week I have had time. Time to read more books, watch movies, bake, cook, take walks, drive my kids around, and even sleep.
Having extra time can make me almost giddy.
There has been more time for taking photos of ancient farmhouses, just down the road from my own ancient farmhouse.
More time for baking a batch of cookies that my daughter described as, "a little piece of heaven in her mouth."
More time for trying new recipes and making messes in the kitchen.
More time for walks and checking out the flowers along the way.
I even think I am going to squeeze in a trip to an historical town tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteYour time sounds heavenly. I've been working a lot of hours at work and it feels like the days are just wooshing by. My consolation is telling myself soon I'll start looking for another job where the workload (and pay) is more reasonable. Until then I'll live through your pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteJust wait 'til you become empty nesters. Good thing is you'll have more time for your writings and photography to share with your readers. Hope this current time goes by slowly, very slowly because it is the best part.

Perfect! I'm waiting for November to have a little more time. Your days sound exactly how I'd like to spend my time.

ReplyDeleteI always try to take my time for everything, obviously if I can...
ReplyDeleteTose 'golden' words will bring anyone happiness.
ReplyDeleteYour extra time and relaxing moments are jumping off the screen. I'm glad you're having such a nice week. Isn't it amazing how much we can do with just a little bit of extra time? I didn't see 'Light Between Oceans' on your Kindle reading list. I just finished it -- good read, if you want to add another to list before your extra time expires.
ReplyDeleteHow I would love a cookie about now!
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like you definitely put your time to its best use...:)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! Precious time. Glad you have had time to enjoy life.

ReplyDeleteJohn - As far as I know the house is not an early log structure.
ReplyDeleteShug - I was thinking it is a Goldenrod. But, not sure.
