Simple Sunday

Today was a simple Sunday here at the farmette. No errands to run and just a couple of afternoon items to complete. Rainy, dreary, and a tad chilly, it was the perfect day for staying inside.

Cooking and baking ruled the late afternoon.

And, I was glad for it.

"Sunday is the golden clasp that binds together the volume of the week."

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

  11. Our Sunday consisted of 3 of the GrandBoys decorating our tree. It's sparse but so beautiful. Love to decorate but cannot this season so will take all the help I can get.
I love your wreath on the fence..so festive showing the circle of life, the reason for the season.
    Blessings

  16. I could use a simple day to bake and clean...so glad you got one! And as far as decorating even though people don't come down your road...I saw a ton of houses that were well off the beaten path on our trip that were all decorated...what fun it was seeing them like that! Have a great week!
