Just a short walk from my parent's home in Florida is a park that we frequent whenever we visit. As I tried to sneak up on this bird, he was totally miffed by my presence and did not appreciate the fact that I almost fell into the water while trying to photograph his greatness.

giggles. great shots. ( :

ReplyDeleteLovely captures .... and be careful out there ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's true. The birds down here have absolutely no appreciation for what we photographers endure in order to document them. Hope you're well rested after vacation. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteAh yes! just like those Florida birds : ) At least he posed juuuuust long enough to "catch" on camera.
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle, Well stated ... the dangers of this hobby. :-) In any event, some great pictures and thanks for sharing. John
ReplyDeleteMorning Michelle, soothing pictures, I can almost feel the warm breeze on my face, instead of a freezing winter wind, Thanks,Francine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of photographs! Florida is a beautiful state filled with lots of interesting animals. My husband went to college there and we've visited many times since then. It's so warm and tropical and the water is the perfect temperature for swimming.

ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't fall in! I have a funny photo (somewhere in iPhoto) of a bunch of seagulls on a fence.. do you know why seagulls don't fly over the bay? Cause if they did.. they'd be called "bay gulls". ha
