Small Things

Today I am thankful for small things.

Spring, finally, in all of its forms.
Trap shooting gone great for the boy.
Softball success for the girl.

A warm spring week ahead of me.
An unexpected afternoon at home.

Grass fed beef in the freezer.
Time to prepare it.
Supper with my family.

What small things are you thankful for?

  7. You do have a lot to be thankful for. We've got a bouquet of fragrant lilacs in 3 colors on the dining room table and our daughter-in-law is on her way for a visit with 3 of our grandsons. That's what I'm thankful for.
    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I know that's not a small thing, but when life hands you something unexpected, YOU TRULY APPRECIATE ALL SMALL THINGS! Sweet post...have a wonderful week~~~Roxie

  21. Hi Michelle, Your post made me stop and think about the smaller things. If you look at my profile, you'll see that I included "Looking for the gold in the Golden Years." Ha ha. Well, truthfully, there aren't too many things that are great about getting older, but one thing that is: having the time to "stop and smell the roses" and check out the smaller things. The details of a flower. The marks on a leaf. Your photos are more good examples. Thanks for sharing and have a great day. John
