Thoughtful Thursday

Spring has officially arrived at the farmette.

It has been hovering around us for a couple of weeks.

Teasing us with warm temperatures and green grass.

Now the Redbud Trees are blooming.  It is official.

Why are they called Redbuds when they are really pinkish/purple?

A debate for another post, I suppose.

  1. I'm happy to see your pretty blossoms because mine are gone now, except for the last of the lilacs. We don't have redbud trees here but they sure add a lot of color.....red or pink/purple.
