Random Five Friday

An oldie, but a goodie, unearthed from the archives.  Taken in Colorado several years ago, truly out in the middle of nowhere.

A visit to the podiatrist for my daughter, (all is well), showed me many displays for anti-fungal nail polish in several new, bright colors.  Who knew?!

Just how many times can a Jack Russell jump in and out of the bed during the night?  A lot....I was too tired to keep count.

A pound or two of beef tips (or cut up cheap steak) placed in the bottom of a crock pot with an envelope of onion soup mix, cream soup, and a cup of ginger ale on top, AND cooked on low all day makes a wonderful beef/gravy dish.  I know it sounds weird, but just go with it.

Ferns out on the front porch.  Finally.

Linking up with Nancy at A Rural Journal.

    1. Lisa, I actually served it over wide egg noodles, but potatoes or rice would work perfectly.

  27. Love the image! The crock pot recipe is familiar except for the ginger ale! I'll be adding it next time. I've had pulled pork cooked in rootbeer and it is so tender. No pets allowed in my bedroom anymore. I need my sleep! Hope you have a lovely Mother's Day, Michelle. xx
