Color and Understanding

And so it has finally happened here on the farmette. Flowers are blooming and it really feels like summer.

The cool weather delayed so many things this season that, for a while, it seemed like nothing would bloom.

But, it did, and now I don't have to rely on clicking through blog photos to get my flower fix.

Even the Four-o-Clocks decided to grace us with their presence.

As I wandered the farmette photographing this and that, my little buddy was not far behind.

That was when I realized why those Zinnia seeds I planted did not sprout.....

  36. Ha ha - I guess you shouldn't plant zinnias where bones are supposed to be ! So nice to see all that color - ours is coming but also a little behind. Summer's been coming in fits and starts - mostly fits though.

Wonderful post on makin' hay - and how true what Bob Feller said !
