So are the Days of Our Lives

It has been a quiet Sunday here on the farmette.  Hanging out with the family, the dogs, and the bird.  A little time in the pool and a little time in the kitchen made the day complete.

It is far from glamorous.  Cows were moved to a new pasture, with success, this afternoon.  The dogs sunbathed in the yard for a brief spell.  The boy and girl of the house had a lively discussion over a game and   I contemplated the new color for the master bathroom walls.

It is life in the slow lane for certain.

  6. Sounds like a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon...dogs sunbathing in the yard (farm dogs have a good life, don't they?!)...a dip in the pool...and maybe a nap as well?

    We've been sweltering in record breaking heat this weekend. I believe it got to 121 today. I'm staying inside under the AC which hasn't slowed down all day!

  12. I always enjoyed watching others doing it, especially forking hay (before they baled it) from the ground up onto a hay wagon.

  13. It's better to be on the farm where the pace is slow than in the race where the rats are winning. (My philosophy for the day). :-}
