Morning Michelle, so true, summer where are you?? Love your header pictures, great collection.....Blessings Francine.
Beautiful, Beautiful!You & Dr. Seuss,Beautiful!!!!!!
So true...I've been watching WW to see how early they put out Halloween items- last year one store had all three holidays going at once... smh Seems Mother Nature is in a hurry too these days.
Time seems to accelerate with age. I haven't figured it out but it could have something to do with living in the present when you get older and when young it seemed like I was always looking forward to some event which has the illusion of making time go slower. It used to take about 2 years for Christmas to arrive!
Seems like we're going to have an early Autumn.
I know - it's crazy right? I couldn't believe it when it got dark so early last night. The end of summer totally snuck up on me and bit me in the butt!
It can't leave fast enough for me! Whew! I'm sick of being HOT! Pretty sunflower....I will miss the flowers though.
The summer seems to be vanishing before my eyes too! How can that be?!
As I told my daughter this morning, it is a blah time....school isnt in full swing, vacations are over, it isnt summer, it isnt fall....it is blah time!
I've been feeling the same way about summer - it goes far too quickly!
perfect and i too feel the same :(
I know exactly what you mean! School starts already in just under 2 weeks! We haven't gotten our money out of the family pool pass yet...
I totally get this. I want it to be summer all year! I am trying to do a CRAZY cleaning of my house so that we can start to live again. I truly feel like we have been so cluttered by stuff that we spend time cleaning and cleaning.....
Yep, my thoughts as well! I feel like I haven't fully enjoyed the summer yet, but it's just about gone already. With the cool weather we've been having lately, it's like fall is already here!
time is flying. although, here, i'm sure summer will last for several more months.
I love your photo and how the sunflowers have just begun to turn-summers do pass too quickly.
Michelle -- Love your Dr Seuss quote. I will forward it on to a few folks. Like your header. I know school is almost ready to start again -- just yesterday I was preparing to go back to school -- oh no -- that was many years ago -- time! ~~ barbara
Great shot to illustrate the quote. Summer is slipping away and we have to go with it.
I will be sorry for the end of a 24°C (75°F) summer, but not too much for this 32°C (90°C) heat wave...
Isn't that the truth..I can't even believe it is Aug. The school buses will be running before we know it. xo
Well put, Dr. Seuss!
Oh yes.. summer is fleeting for sure! Just in the last week i've noticed a big difference in the late afternoon light. Sigh. I plan to enjoy every second of August. Beautiful photo!
Lovely way to say that days fly by!
Cheers to enjoying the last days of summer.
I know. Pierce starts school next week. I can't believe summer is over.
I, too, cannot believe we are already one week into August. I love the Fall though, and we have a couple of vacations then to look forward to, so it's all good.
Make the most of what's left.
I'm sure your year revolves around the school year, and sadly, for you the summer is over or rapidly over. I am free of the school rhythms these days, but I still share that feeling. We are experiencing days in the 70s and cool nights, which are wonderful but feel more like September than August.
Good ole Dr. Seuss , always had a way with words.
Love Dr. Seuss too!
We are off to grasp the best of summer for our lake camp-out. It's not over yet! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Autumn comes early to Colorado--or so I've been told--so I also feel summer slipping away. I do look forward to seeing autumn here--which I am told also arrives and leaves quickly. I guess winter is Colorado's longest season..lol! Thank goodness the winters here are not s cold and bitter.Enjoy your last summer days!
Que bonita ...Saludos desde las Islas Canarias para ti y todos los que pasan por tu blog
Pretty summery flowers! Have a nice day.
Oh Dr. Suess. He always says it best....:)
I am feeling the same about my lifeOnly yesterday I was 30 and had a ginger beard
Oh great quote, I feel exactly that way!
Oh I can SO RELATE to this!! and LOVE the pic!
Sad but true...
