Random Five Friday

This is precisely the spot where I drop off my son during bow hunting season.  Nothing short of stunning.

Classical mixed with Bluegrass?  What is that you say?  Some call it, "Grassical". Whatever you might call it, just remember it is all about talent.   Click here if you would like to take a listen.  Be still my heart, I do love Chris Thile.

I want/need/love this kitchen.  I already have a start with some vintage signs.  I think I really need a tin ceiling.

This article in Garden and Gun Magazine touched my heart, as well as made me laugh.  Our own family physician died not long ago and the gentleman doctor, in the article, sounds just like him.

A gentleman coon hunter knocked on our door at approximately 1:00 am this morning......looking for his dog.  True story.....

  11. Lovely picture, Michelle.

I have been coon hunting with my Uncle. Sometimes, dogs do have a mind of their own. When they get on a scent trail, there is little stopping them.

    Happy Weekend!

  23. Lovely Shades of green, yellow and red on the grass! Your stories of the Family doctors bring my mind some cozy series of Family doctors in the countryside I read in the long summers of my childhood ... I'd love to drive around in your neighbourhood ... to see the hills and roads, and the school bus stopping and collecting children in the mornings...
    Enjoy the weekend, Michelle :)
