Random Five Friday

One more Morning Glory before they disappear with the frost.  A blogger commented that she had never seen them curl up before.  This one is twisting open for the morning light.  Here on the farmette they seem to take on all kinds of shapes.

I recently found Lorie's Mississippi Kitchen and am enjoying it.  Check it out here.

The documentary, Forks Over Knives, is very intriguing to me.  However, I am not sure I could give up bacon full time.

Shug recently wanted to know how much land we have here on the farmette.  We do have 25 acres mostly in pasture, with natural springs and waterfalls.

My second grade class has been listening to this link of Mozart while working this week.  I am enjoying it as much as they seem to be.

I am linking up with Nancy today.  Please pay her a visit!

  1. Morning glory blooms do all kinds of twisting but your photo is the best I have seen, ours are more distorted. They get real distorted when Houdini gets them.

I had not heard of Forks over Knives--I will have to check that out. I was vegetarian for over 2 years. Have added back some meat, but my big problem is processed foods. Thanks for telling us about this documentary.
