Thankful Wednesday

Photo courtesy of Google Images and my Dad's computer

I have been out of the blog loop for a few days already.  My Dad had serious emergency surgery yesterday and I have come to be with him, and my family, for a few days.  Though not out of the woods entirely, he is in ICU and in stable condition.

A big shout out to my husband who cleared his work schedule to take care of all duties in my absence.

I shall catch up with everyone next week, at some point.

Hug your loved ones.  They are important and life is very fragile.

  23. I'm praying that your dad recovers quickly! My dad just had knee replacement surgery a couple months ago. That with him being the caregiver for my ever closer to Alzheimer mom is making life interesting. I will hug them 1st chance I get next.

  38. Sorry to hear about your Dad, must have been serious if there was a post op ICU involvement, prayers for him. That picture could be anywhere but to me it looks similar to the west coast of Scotland or Ireland.
