Suzy Snowflake

This snowy shot, taken a couple of years ago near our farm, is something that just might happen here later this week.

I am all for it.

As long as it doesn't cancel school.

This teacher can't be working come June.  Let's not get crazy.

  10. Snow is always lovely -- in SMALL doses. I'll keep an eye on your neck of the woods to see if you do indeed get snow this week.

  11. As I'm more of a "kid" than a "teacher", send on the snow days :-D.

  12. I hope you get just enough to be pretty, cold enough to stay a while, not too much so you can't travel. :-)

  13. A little snow is wonderful. :). But you're right. Everything in moderation, after all.

  14. What a pretty shot! I like how it's weighing down the trees all in a line. We might get some snow later this week as well. I don't know if I'm ready for it haha. My husband is a teacher as well and he usually prays for snow days :)

  20. If it snows at all they call school off here, the old superintendent used to call it off based on the forecast and then it wouldn't do anything, thank goodness that clown got fired.

  21. Snow is something I know little of, all I know is it's very cold.

  29. My daughter (she's a school nurse) has a whole different take on it- Bring on the snow days! One summer they had to make up days way into June. Doesn't happen very often here though.

  30. I'm looking forward to our first snow, just as long as we're not driving in it :)

  31. Your a teacher. Oh for sure you would be a great teacher Your smile for sure is beautiful .. My oldest Grandchild is in third year of University to be a teacher. What grade do you teach?

I hope you dont have to make up for weather hazzards.

  32. Love this shot!
It's been snowing for a day or two & still hasn't stopped here in northern MN... I haven't officially measured here at home, but surrounding areas are reporting up to 2 ft. and beyond. I've captured some photos similar to yours.. only we can't see our roads at all! Everything looks like a snowmobile trail. No snow days for us yet.. our kids have their fingers crossed for tomorrow. Many schools to the south closed with much less snow... ours tend to "tough it out" but it's tough on the bus drivers on all these rural dirt roads. They're plowing with their bumpers. :)

  33. Would be nice if you could just put in an order for a few inches of the white stuff in time for Christmas. But if you didn't get any how would you get a great shot like that at the farm ?
