Random Five Friday

The benefit of our recent blast of cold weather was extra time in the kitchen.  Time for biscuits and baking is always nice.

If you are a parent, then you will appreciate the answers a father wrote on his daughter's daycare questionnaire.

Garden and Gun magazine has yet another great collection of dog photos.  This time they are featured on southern porches.

Inger has a great collection of book recommendations on this post.

I have mentioned before my love for Horseradish Cheese and several of you have asked me about it.  I purchase it at a local Mennonite store, but it is made by the Troyer company.  You can check them out here.

Linking up with Nancy today!

  12. One of my great life goals is to learn to make great biscuits. However, while I'm a pretty decent cook, dough tends to be my Achilles heel.

Hi Michelle, Lots of things to like on your recent posts: Your early morning photo with the sun behind the tree, Inger's list of books, your photo of the old barn, the dog pics ... wow, I just like the Small Town Life. : - ) Thanks for your comment on John's Island. My current project, the 1941 Road Trip, by two young school teachers, has a lot of small town stuff I think you may enjoy. Have a great day! John
