Thankful Thursday

Thankful today for small pops of color in an otherwise cold and dreary winter, fluffy snowflakes that appear out of nowhere, and a flaming, hot wood stove.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love our wood stove?

  10. We have a wood furnace which takes electricity for the blower so I am working on putting a stainless steel liner in an old chimney(we have several) in the original part of the farm house so that I can put in a regular wood stove for power outages. It will soon be wood cutting season for me but I love the wood heat and don't mind the cutting.
