Random Five Friday

My very old house peeking through the trees.

Many schools are posting funny videos/phone recordings of closing reports, but this one takes the cake.

Kentucky is covered with sinkholes, but one swallowed part of the famous Corvette Museum this past week.

Fancy some fun Bluegrass?  Click here

Maybe another winter weather blast for my area today.  *sigh*

Linking up with Nancy today!

  27. So, that's your real house? I put a shot of our farmhouse hidden by the bushes a few weeks ago. Early Spring managed to withstand the blizzard, yeah! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  28. We have a huge sinkhole not too far from here. It was a new development and all the residents eventually had to abandon their homes. I think the company that caused the sinkhole bought them from the homeowners. Love your house! I hope it's not near a sinkhole.

  34. Doesn't it seem a little like magic? For a while i got to live in a HUGE Home in Nashville, TN. Most of the year it was totally hidden from view, BUT, if you paid attention for a short time in winter, sure enough, there it was peeking through the trees.

Kinda like lyrics from a Donovan song about a mountain - except, it was a home instead . . .
