Random Five Friday

This slightly out of focus shot features my favorite mailbox item of the week.  Diamonds in a packet, just waiting to be planted!!

I am seriously considering creating a few potato towers this spring.  No weeds and no digging make them very appealing to me.  You can check out a video clip of how to make one right here.

NPR online has a Cabin Fever Playlist that you need.  If you are not a member, just sign in.....it is free, as all the best things in life are.  It will prompt you to download a  Spotifiy music player on your computer.  Not to worry, that is also free.

Sugar free flavored coffee creamer is about the grossest thing I have ever tasted.  Just sayin'.

I see a future fashion designer here.

Linking up with Nancy today!  Y'all go forth and have a fantastic day!

  33. You will be having lots of good things in your garden this summer! That little girl has an amazing imagination. It wouldn't surprise me if she becomes a famous fashion designer.

  34. Oh how I wish our drought would end so I could plant a garden. No outside watering allowed right now...I have had packets of seed for 3 years that I had planned to plant a new garden spot with...sigh...maybe soon we will begin to get rain. Oh how fun it will be to buy some fresh seed and plant my nice little spot...in the mean time I am getting my beds ready with hardscape, water, and deep mulching to kill the weeds and improve the soil.

  40. Still to early to think of spring planting.
I liked having a play list on my blog but then people complained it slowed down their viewing time so I took mine off.
I agree about the Sugar Free creamer....Yuck!

  41. I am also anticipating growing some herbs and might also try some short season peppers and tomatoes to see if the rabbits and deer will leave them alone. Our days are warm but our nights are very cool in summer, so it will be a new learning experience for me as to what will flourish.

I don't like artificial sweeteners either--too chemical tasting!

I saw that paper dress child in a facebook story -- amazing!

Off to hear NPR's music :)
