Random Five Friday

Blue skies above the tree tops have been a welcome sight this week.  Though we did receive some very cold temps and snow flurries, we didn't get any accumulation.  Thank goodness...

I confess that Jimmy Fallon's musical numbers crack me up.  My husband introduced me to this Barber Shop Quartet number and you just might enjoy it.

The time change has really wreaked havoc on my daily schedule this week.  I feel like I am constantly behind....

This video of total strangers kissing has received some mixed reactions.  I confess that I found it rather lovely.

That county in which I reside is notorious for having a terrible ISP.  This week my internet has been moving at a snail's pace. I shall try to catch up with everyone this weekend.  Another company is slated to offer service in our area, but not for another couple of years.  *sigh*

Linking up with Nancy today.  Stop by her place and say hi!

  10. I wish I could stay up late enough to watch The Tonight Show -- I've always loved Jimmy Fallon.
I have to maintain two internet connections out here in the sticks -- must have a backup when one fails to connect. Geez~

  15. I'm with you about the kissing. What an experiment.

Hope you get your ISP problems solved soon. Nothing worse than a sluggish internet provider.

  16. I love the Jimmy Fallon music numbers, too. I rarely see them on the show, have to catch them online.

  17. We saw 'the kiss' here last evening, I like it, I thought their awkwardness was sweet and real even though they were doing it for this video.

  18. life in the country does have some disadvantages - lack of cell coverage and slow internet and sketchy cable tv certainly rank up there!

  19. Your random five are always so fun! I don't stay up late enough for Fallon, but loved the barbershop quartet! I thought the kissing video was sweet. I loved the way most of them were so tentative at first. Love your blue skies! Have a great weekend!

  22. The time change is messing me up as well. It's so hard to wake up and get going when it's still dark outside! But it is nice to have the time at the end of the day. Some of those couples in that kissing video really got into it!

  25. I looked up at the sky a lot today and wished I had an opportunity to take a photo of the big billowy clouds.. but I didn't. I'll have to enjoy your blue sky pic. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  26. I haven't seen Fallon's new show (too late for me), but in the past I have laughed until I cried at his "Whip My Hair" in the style of Neil Young.

  27. Nice blue, I like the video too.

  28. It is great seeing blue skies again. - Interesting video on the kissing. I did find it odd though, In my opinion total strangers wouldn't be quite as passionate as some of those people seemed to be. I mean if I had to kiss someone I'd never met before you can bet it would be a quick peck on the lips and nothing else.

  29. I looked up yesterday at a very similar sight. Blue skies and trees with plump buds. Spring will win out..eventually! :)

  31. Oh yes this time change is kicking my bootie... I feel behind and as well but getting up in the morning has just been hard this week. Happy weekending!

  32. i am all messed up with the time change as well!! i love watching people who are in love, display their afection for one another. not sure about strangers. a kiss, for me, is special!!

  33. What a beautiful contrast -- the blue sky with the tree tops against it. One thing about KY that I love is that they have the bluest skies of all the places I have lived. Hope it warms up soon your way -- barbara

  34. Kiss!
Why mixed reviews? I wonder. Kinda cool if you ask me. I enjoyed their idle chatter 'getting to know each other'. A few really got into it. Get a room?

  35. Not sure what I thought about the kissing video, I had all the mixed reaction thoughts in my head as I watched it. I was left wondering by the reactions later how they felt about each other.
