Thankful Thursday

A chimney I have photographed before, but this time with a friendly visitor.

Thankful this week for copious amounts of coffee.  Softball and trap shooting are in full swing at this household.  Evenings and weekends are being spent at ballparks and shooting ranges.  Throw in some chickens, dogs, cows, and bees......oh, and a full time job!  It all combines for a crazy schedule.

And, these people around here still expect clean laundry......

  1. Oh that is an awesome shot. Oh and why does the laundry always seem to be so important when we have enough to do?:) Hug B

  2. I LOVE the quote...reminds me of a few people from way back on certain jobs I had. Some people really do have that knack! Cool chimney- I always wonder what kind of house it belonged to, and how it survived when the house didn't. Have a great week Michelle- slow down a bit!

  3. I saw an 'ecard' the other day that asked "What kind of wine goes best with laundry?".

    I don't suffer from insanity;
    I enjoy every minute of it.
    so, you know I know and how do you get it all done? You just do!

  14. Amazing photo, Michelle! My Mom used to call these the 'whirlwind years'. You just keep swirling around and around. Keep these years close to your heart - they end all too soon. xo Karen

  15. Some days, I think we all wonder how it's all going to get done! That friendly visitor looks like he sees lunch inside the chimney.

  16. Coffee . . . nectar of the gods. And I am convinced that the other members of the family are all smart enough to learn how to operate the washer and dryer.

  18. My only visitors (I live on the 6th floor) are unfriendly and squeaking huge gulls on my terrace...
