Friday Randoms

Commonly known as Blue Sailors, these flowers line the back roads of Kentucky at this time of year.

Blossom Rot is a dirty word.  Enough said....

My sense of humor is a bit offbeat and thus this advertisement made me laugh out loud.

It's Friday, so we need some music.....bell bottoms anyone?

Softball games on the schedule for the weekend.  Bet you couldn't have guessed!

Linking up today with Tanya and her first Willy Nilly Friday!

  5. Hi, I'm visiting from Tanya's party. Loved the video, lol, that cracked me up! We have a similar blue flower here in Missouri that is called Chicory. They mainly grow along the roadside. Love the music, I need to keep it playing so I can get in the mood to run the vacuum around. Lol!
Have a nice day and weekend! ~Cheryl

  13. Never heard them called blue sailors before. Once in a while I see some that are actually off color, more magenta in them.

  20. Ah, never heard that name for chicory before. Love the color though - we get lots of it here later in summer.

Had a good chuckle at that commercial. (I don't think we're paying taxes up here in Canada to support the British royalty anymore - except when they come for a 'visit').
