    1. Beth, it just means that the land's hunting rights have been leased to a person for the season. Farmers often will sell a lease on large parcels of land for people to hunt.

  22. I don't believe I have ever seen one of those "Leased" signs, posted before. Hey....it serves it's purpose in letting people know that your land is already taken. Surely it's not already time for you to go back to school??
