Gray and Gloomy

It's a gray and gloomy day here at the farmette.

Perfect for watching a little Shark Week on the Discovery channel and snacking on some garden fresh pico de gallo.

The hens are relaxing in their coop and the dogs are resting on the couch.  Only the cows seem to like the rain, as they stand outside munching on grass during the down pours.

I suppose the pumpkins are appreciative of the rain as well.

  3. Hi Michelle, You probably needed a day like this to rest up from your busy week. The pumpkins are looking good. I've seen a few growing around here lately. Hope the week ahead is a good one.

  13. We have had a quick thunderstorm almost every afternoon this summer! I am learning that this is usual summer weather in Colorado. Your pumpkins are growing well! Only a month away and they will be everywhere!
