Showers Descend

Showers descended upon the farmette yesterday.

 They came in droves.

With our pastures so dry, it was a welcome sight.

Even the Zinnias are looking a bit withered.

"The gathering clouds bespread the sky, and gentle showers descend; the ripening fruits we just descry, as summer is at end."

Your top photo is pretty and interesting. The flower behind the main one makes it look like a reflection in water. Very cool!

It was getting a bit dry here too but we had the tail end of Hurricane Bertha on Sunday and the weather has not been right since.
Still water butts are refiled and the ground has had a good soaking for the thirsty plants. . . . .:)
