Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for the one egg I found in the coop.  Because it was quite a hot day and the girls usually go on strike in the heat, I wasn't even expecting anything.

Sometimes you have to take what you can get.

"The present was was an egg laid by the past that had the future inside its shell."

Zora Neale Hurston

  17. Beautiful capture of the barn and surroundings. As a child I would find eggs in the hay loft. As they were usually old my friend and I would have great fun dropping the eggs to the pigs below.
