Friday Randoms

Good frosty morning from the Farmette.  No Black Friday shopping here.  Just a nice pink sky wake up, a wood stove, and a cup of coffee.

While we are experiencing a holiday weekend that is food related, here you can find some of the most iconic meals in art.

Are you a fan of Charles Shulz work?  Who isn't, right?  Here are a few facts about him you probably didn't know.  His holiday specials are wonderful childhood memories for me.

Young Youtube sensation, Josh Turner, is a favorite of mine.  Here is a collaboration with his friend, Larkin Dodgen.

I think I don't have much on the agenda for the rest of this weekend....and that is just fine by me.  Have a good one!

Linking up with Tanya today!

  6. No Black Friday activity here either. It's a sad statement about our culture, isn't it? Stick with the coffee, family and relaxing.

  11. ... and a wonderful version of the 60's classic, "Baby, You've Got What It Takes". He's talented. I remember a super one by the Dave Clark Five, mid 60's too. It was pretty rockin'. Original out about '61 by some gal whose name escapes me right now.

  19. Sorry to be so late commenting. We had a super busy weekend and little time for blogging.
Oh my some of those food art photos were "scary" looking.
Not the Josh Turner I'm familiar with but nice music.
I loved Charlie Brown and especially his poor sick looking Christmas tree.
Thanksgiving here was pretty quiet, a nice meal, a movie and just relaxing for a change.
