Friday Randoms

Well, it's Friday and the time for whatever randoms things come across my mind.  Here is a picture of the, "back way home".  I live pretty far out in the country, so I think maybe this also looks like the regular way home.

A collection of cartoonists paying tribute to the fallen satirists is here.  A sad state of affairs for all of us.....

If you are looking for a good photo sharing opportunity, then look no further than here.  Yes, you can find me there.

That passing of Stuart Scott only adds to the sadness of the week.  You can find the best of him right here.

It has been a heavy week, my friends.  I will leave you with a little music for your weekend.

Linking up with Tanya today.....

  2. It has definitely not been a good week. Hate and anger breed violence and I have never seen times like what we are living through now- not even in the 70s. I like the geographic site- just wish my photos were good enough to share that way! Have a good weekend.

  3. We live in troubled times, I'm afraid. I was hoping 2015 would be a good year but I received bad news on day one. We can only roll with it and keep going. However, so much of the angst and pain I see seems unnecessary, if we would but care for our fellow man.

  4. you really do have some beautiful views on your way home. My kind of Country! You are right...it has been a heavy week in the world and the cloudy weather makes things seem a tad bit worse. It's a big world though and this gives us room to focus on the Positive. Your photos always bring out the Positive on any given day. Thanks Michele. Have a great weekend.

  9. Sad times, indeed. I thought the cartoons on that site were a wonderful response to the France attack. God comfort their families!

  10. I'd love to pass this way each day.
Unsettling to think that a sense of humor can lead one down this savage road.

  16. Dang it.. I keep accidentally hitting the "Publish" button when I just start.. I'll try again.

I bet you appreciate living way out in the country in a rural area after the craziness that is happening in big cities. I know I do.
