Friday Randoms

The snow seems to be melting a bit and with warmer temps in the forecast, hopefully it will all be gone soon.

Have you ever been witness to a hole punch cloud?  Nah, me neither, but you can see a real one here.

Here is an interesting take on Civil War re-enactors, who pretend to die.  Having attended a reenactment, with a full charge up a hill (horses, guns, smoke, noise, the works,it was awesome), I find it a bit intriguing.

Led Zeppelin as played by elementary school students?  Nothing could be more awesome, except for the fact they are from Kentucky,  Yep, that's right....

I have been on a total Tina Turner kick for the past few days....along with some Allman Brothers,

Linking up with Tanya today!

  4. once i went to work on an art assignment in a park - i was somewhere in Phoenix, Arizona . . sketch pad, pencils - sat in a nice spot to draw . . and the Civil War broke out all around me - i was stunned . . eventually a gentleman on a horse - dressed for some other era . . rode over to be, tipped his cap and said, "M'am. you may want to remove yourself - there appears to be a battle and we would not want you to be hurt." That's the day i learned about re-enactors . . .

  8. Interesting about the clouds; we are cloud watchers. Living in the middle of civil war country, we see those re-enactments on a regular basis. I always learn something new tho!
