Friday Randoms

Don't they look fierce?  Really, they are just a bunch of softies.

Here is a little office mashup of some great covers.

Thinking of moving to a small town?  Here is a list of the coolest in America.

A person who has commented as, "anonymous", has inquired about our solar panel project.  Purchased from Windy Nation, they continue to work well.  Be advised that you will need a lot of panels to gather small amounts of power.  Four panels provide power for small tools in the garage along with lighting.  Also lighting for the barn.

Have you ever been intrigued by homes shown in movies?  Here is a nice list for you.  I do love Highclere Castle.

Linking up today with Nancy and Tanya!

  8. For a non farm girl, those cows may be sweeties, but...they're bigger than me! OMG, sometimes I walk down the Thames path and have to go thru a small herd of cows or bulls on some of the fields and I just keep reminding myself that loads of people walk thru the fields and around the cows and are just fine.

  11. I've just moved to the smallest town I have lived in and I grew up in what I thought was small, think again. I like it.

  12. Love those cute cows! I liked the list of small towns for the most part, just wonder why they go up to 10,000 population, and not stop at 7500. I wonder what the criteria were (low crime, active community events, great schools????) The houses list was also pretty neat, but the one I really liked was Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis House in Bladerunner!

I had solar panels fitted on my roof 6 months ago and when sunny the 18 panels kick out a lot of electricity, enough for a washing machine, tumble dryer and a heater plus TV . . . but no good when no sun . . . :)

  28. I am not sure about Allegan, Michigan being number 4 on the list. I live about half hour from there, I don't think it is that cool. I love Highclere too, someday maybe I will get there.

  29. I think I live in the best small town in America, but it is west of the Mississippi River and most people living east of the Mississippi don't know where Idaho is!!!!!!!!!! Those small towns may be over-run by people now.
